First, lessons of any kind are not for the faint of heart. Dr. Felix, the Peacock Pedagogue, knows about this all too well and I quote: “If it were easy, everyone would do it.”

Well for those of you ready to dive into the wonderful world of vocal training or RE-training, you could not have a better partner in crime than Dr. Felix!

Soon enough, you will begin to internalize the lessons so that you can recognize your “habits” and make adjustments on your own. 
C: Felix honestly is invested in his students’ growth and longevity. He is there to help you appreciate and preserve your instrument for the long haul. Function creates freedom! 

As a singer, your whole existence is literally and metaphorically, linked to your voice; what you say, how you say it, what you SOUND like. What if no one listens or likes it? What if someone IS listening and does like it?! What if I open my mouth and nothing comes out!?

Felix has helped calm my anxieties and inspired me to “get out of the way”, “get on top of the note” and “get real”. I have learned so much in the short amount of time we have been working together. I’m excited to see where our journey out of the comfort zone leads to next!
